Last year I came into the healing rooms. I had a cough and sometimes tightness in my chest and throat like I could not get enough air in my lungs. I went to the emergency room once and got breathing treatments which helped and I had an inhaler. The doctor thought the cough was triggered by allergies. I was taking allergy medication and had just started taking an asthma medication. Sometimes I would wake up at night feeling panicky…like I wasn’t getting enough air. I was also having dreams in which I (or my family) was under attack and I tried to fight but felt paralyzed.
I came to the healing rooms of Wilmington. I can’t remember or understand all that was prayed…what I remember is that the prayer ministers spoke in God’s power and authority. I was physically moved back with God’s power and presence and started shaking so much that I could hardly stand. I know that God is not far away. He is alive and present! Like His word says, He came to set the captives free…to free us from all that binds us and keeps us from being healed and whole and He did that for me.
The prayer ministers gave me some scriptures (Isaiah 53, Psalm 103, etc.) which I continued to pray. Within two weeks I was symptom free. God’s word is powerful and He is so faithful! Today I take no medications…not even for allergies…even though this is usually the time of year they act up…not as much as a little cough!
I give praise and thanks to God and thank you to the faithful prayer warriors in the Healing Rooms of Wilmington. Shannon
PS: I recently went back into the healing rooms for pain and tightness in the back of my neck and tightness in the front…like a strangling feeling. I have degenerative (arthritic) changes in neck…I’ve gone to a chiropractor for years. As the prayer ministers prayed, my neck felt like fire…but it didn’t hurt…it was warm and soothing. The prayer minister held my arms and prayed and I felt something move. They saw my arm get longer. In my neck and shoulders which had felt so tight (like a balled up fist), I felt a sudden release. I had lately been so stressed, anxious, weary and discouraged…which I had attributed to all of life’s demands. I left there different….no longer stressed, weary or discouraged…I left walking in the joy and freedom that I know God wants for all his children that we can have in all circumstances!!!! God is awesome!!!!!!!

Saturday March 5, at Healing Room of Woodbridge a woman came in complaining of pain in her legs. After receiving prayer, she felt no more pain. She called and said that she was healed. Our God is a healer! Amen Terry

God healed my marriage. My husband and I were struggling with issues from the past. I came to the healing room and by the time I got home my house was completely different and so was my husband. God also healed my heart from many old hurts from childhood and I am grateful. DeAnna

The trust issue I came in for prayer tonight was what I thought had just started but God spoke. My trust issues didn’t just start during my court battle it started from childhood on through until now. Just forgiving all the people in my life who I loved but couldn’t trust, has lifted a tremendous burden off of me. I know I am still a work in progress but with God by my side I will not fall. He is the truth and life and I now know I am not hopeless. I have hope and God loves me and that is all I need to get me through. Praise God! Sheila

Our Healing Rooms receives communion before we pray for the sick. Two weeks ago I came into the Healing rooms and noticed that the communion elements had not been set out. So, I took the crackers and put them on a plate and took another plate and set out communion cups. I grabbed the grape juice from the refrigerator and realized that there was only enough juice for one cup. I prayed over the juice and said, “Jesus, I think we need one of those multiplication miracles right now!” I poured the juice into one cup, then I realized there was more left and poured it into another cup and another, until all were filled. I held the grape juice bottle up and saw the same amount of juice in the bottle as when I started. I knew that I was experiencing a miracle.
We put the bottle back in the refrigerator. Last week, I came in again and set up the communion elements and prayed over the same grape juice bottle again, asking Jesus to multiply it. I filled more communion cups before it finally ran out. I’m not sure what is going on, but I know where there is a need, Jesus can provide supernaturally. Be Blessed, Glenda

I have an awesome healing testimony to share with you. …I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease. I started coming to the Healing Rooms in mid 2010 for prayer. I don’t recall requesting prayer for the diagnosis but I did request prayer for physical healing. November 2010 I went back to see my physician and gastrologist, also had to do more tests. In December 2010 I received a call from my gastrologist informing me that there is no longer any trace or evidence of the fatty liver disease. He told me that my liver is completely healthy. Praise God! James

I came to the Healing Rooms one Saturday in December 2010 to receive prayer. I had been praying on my own but I just could not get a break through for healing. As I was filling out my prayer request Kathy informed me that one of the intercessors received a revelation from the Lord that someone with back and neck pain was gong to come in today for prayer and that they would be healed o that pain. Thank you, Jesus. I was the one. “The team†prayed for me, (and) that pain lifted up off of me like a weight and I felt such a relief and peace. Praise God for the Healing Rooms of Washington DC. This past Saturday at Healing Rooms, a beautiful 10 year old girl asked Jesus to be her Lord and Savior and was able to forgive her father and was set free from anger; when asked how she felt afterward, she said “I’m happy!†Hallelujah! Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. KF.
